What is online pornography? It is illegal, and is the violation of a person’s civil and human rights. There are various definitions for what is pornography. In general, however, it is defined as any sexually oriented material, which depicts any form of sexual activity, even if it does not involve actual sexual contact.

According to Rule 34 of the UK Internet Services Regulations, what is online pornography is defined as any material that one would see that is being supplied on a website to either promote a commercial activity or to be used for serious personal reasons. This includes material that can easily be accessed from a computer, without the necessity of the user going through any kind of physical or geographical trouble. What is online shopping also falls under this rule. Under this rule, anything provided on a commercial site, whether it is a shop, a dating site, or a bank website, is deemed to be what is adult and is strictly regulated.

The problem with the UK’s anti-pornography laws is that they are very vague. According to the Office of Communications, what is online pornography is not defined as any material that depicts depictions of sexual conduct, non-consensual sex, or people engaged in any form of serious abuse or harassment. Additionally, what is online is not defined as any visual material that was made by a person who was under the age of eighteen at the time. In fact, this law is so poorly defined that many websites that are routinely visited by young people have been shut down by the British government due to complaints that they are sites used by minors to obtain illicit materials.

Young people are the ones most commonly targeted by what is online pornography. According to stats from the European Youth Safe Online Protection Initiative (EYPI), what is online pornography in the UK has accounted for over five hundred complaints made to the local police force in the past year alone. Despite the fact that there is no formal sex education instruction available to children in the UK, the police force around England and Wales have received a large amount of calls inquiring about materials that could possibly promote what is unsavory to some consumers. What is even more unfortunate is that these same police officers will then instruct school teachers and parents that they must keep a close eye on their children’s sexual activity online.

It is important for children to learn how to respect themselves and their bodies early on in life. Unfortunately, what is online pornography in the UK is being viewed by young people who lack the information necessary to make responsible decisions when it comes to their own sexual behavior. Some experts state that what is online can be viewed by anyone, regardless of age, although younger children tend to be more sensitive to what is around puberty. What is important to remember is that what is online can and does affect everyone. It is a shame that parents do not inform their kids about what is inappropriate and what is real.

For young men, the onset of what is called internet addiction can begin to take shape. With the easy access that many young men have to images of naked women or of men performing explicit acts may make them start to associate the Internet with sex, even if they were not aware of this at the time. They see the world of the web as an acceptable way to approach sexuality. Unfortunately, what is online cannot be separated from its potential to cause addiction. Many pornography websites encourage their users to view or download their materials on a “etime” basis. This can create a sense of urgency, which in turn can be dangerous because young men often do not have the self-control to resist an impulse that can be overwhelming.

The dangers of what is online are very real, and it is becoming increasingly difficult for parents to protect young people from these dangerous influences. Many schools now require that students who wish to view adult content on school-wide computers participate in a sex education class or practice sex education, which is an important step in providing young people with the information and tools that they need to make healthy decisions about their own sexual health. However, not all schools are implementing this type of program, and the most troubling trend is the fact that some school districts are caving in to pressure from porn companies and removing or limiting the educational opportunities that are offered to young people.

For parents, it is important to realize that we cannot protect our children from what is online pornography on the one hand, while at the same time sending them into potentially risky situations with their sexual activity. It is time for us to commit to educating our children about the impact of what is online and the negative consequences of allowing their use to go unchecked. We must also make sure that they understand the value of maintaining a strong sex education block at home, so that our children are kept well-informed about these issues at an early age. I feel that it is imperative that we teach our children about the impact of what is online, so that we can protect them. After all, it is up to us to protect them from harm, starting as young as we are.
